We will not quote you a latency figure
Any host advertising “1ms to your broker” without knowing who your broker is, is advertising a number they invented. Latency depends on your broker's server location, your chosen datacenter and the path between them. Choose the nearest location, run a ping test, and judge it on the measurement rather than the marketing.
A VPS does not improve a strategy
It removes one category of failure — your own machine — and nothing else. A strategy that loses money on your laptop loses money faster on a server that never sleeps. This is worth saying because this category is sold as though the server were the edge.
Nobody is watching it for you
Every plan is unmanaged. If MetaTrader crashes at 2am, it stays crashed until you look. Traders running unattended strategies should set up their own monitoring and auto-restart rather than assuming someone else is.
