What do additional IPv4 addresses cost?

They are billed as an add-on separate from the base plan price, and the amount depends on the datacenter. There is no published figure, so ask before you order rather than after. We would rather quote you a real number than print one that turns out to be wrong for your location.

Are additional addresses available in every datacenter?

No. IPv4 space is genuinely scarce and allocation differs by location and by month. This is the one part of the order we cannot promise in advance, which is exactly why we ask you to confirm the location and the count with us first.

Does every plan already include an IPv4 address?

Yes. All 16 plans include one dedicated IPv4 address at no extra cost. Additional addresses are the thing being discussed on this page; the first one is never an upsell.

Do I configure the extra addresses myself?

Yes, and you can, because every plan includes full root access. Adding an address to a network interface is a short piece of configuration, and support can walk you through it for your distribution if you have not done it before.

Can I add addresses to a server I already have?

Yes. Contact support with your order ID and the number you need, and we will confirm what is available in your server's datacenter. No rebuild is required.

Is multiple IPv4 the right answer for email deliverability?

It is one lever, and not the first one. rDNS, SPF, DKIM, DMARC and a sensible warm-up schedule matter more than the number of addresses you send from. Multiple IPs help once you are sending enough volume that isolating reputation between streams is worth the extra setup.

For most workloads, one dedicated IPv4 address is the correct number — and every plan here includes one, so most people never need this page. It becomes worth reading when you are splitting bulk email across several sending addresses to keep one blacklisting from taking down the rest, when an agency wants each client on its own address, or when a protocol binds a certificate to an address rather than a hostname. The important caveat, said once and plainly: IPv4 space is scarce, so availability varies by datacenter and by month. We confirm the count and the location with you before you order. Any host promising IPv4 addresses without limit, on demand, in 2026 is promising something they do not control.
