What network port speed does each plan get?

Classic VPS plans have a 1 Gbps port. Every other range — SSD VPS, NVMe VPS, Cloud VPS and VDS — has a 10 Gbps port. There is no 100 Mbps or 500 Mbps tier; the slowest port we sell is 1 Gbps.

Yes, in every country we sell in. You can add up to 16 IPv6 addresses at $1.00 each per month, at checkout or later from the client area. Every plan includes a dedicated IPv4 address as standard regardless.

Is the IPv4 address dedicated or shared?

Dedicated, on every plan in every range. It is bound to your server alone, not shared and not behind NAT, and it stays with the service through reboots, OS reinstalls and in-location plan upgrades. Additional addresses are $6.50 each per month.

Is outbound Port 25 open?

Yes, by default, on every plan, with no approval step and no support ticket needed to unlock it. That is unusual among hosts and it is deliberate: a mail server that cannot make outbound SMTP connections is not a mail server.

Can I set a reverse DNS record?

Yes. Custom rDNS/PTR records can be set on your dedicated address to match your sending or hosting hostname, which most large mail providers check before accepting mail. Open a ticket with the hostname you want.

Is there DDoS protection?

Volumetric attack traffic is filtered at the network level, upstream of your server, and it applies across the infrastructure without you configuring anything. It is aimed at the flood-type attacks that saturate a link; it is not a substitute for a properly configured firewall and an application that handles load sensibly.

Does a faster port mean I get more bandwidth included?

Port speed is how fast a single transfer can go; it is not the same thing as a monthly transfer allowance. A 10 Gbps port matters when you move large files, serve bursty traffic or run a mail queue that empties quickly. For a small site that is idle most of the day, the 1 Gbps port on Classic VPS is rarely the limiting factor.

How do I tell whether a problem is the network or my server?

Test the IP from a connection other than your own — a public looking glass, or a phone on mobile data. If it answers from elsewhere, the route between you and the datacenter is the suspect rather than the server. If it answers nowhere, tell us with the IP and the time it started.
